What resources are available to look for a muscle car for sale? Auto trader classic is very underwhelming, and there are too many local Craigslist pages to scour. I'm open to any new website or print resource to check out.

Craigslist is your best bet, most of the time the best cars are hidden away deep in CL.

I'd say CL, eBay Motors, Hemmings, Bring a Trailer, and Autotrader Classic are the big ones. There are individual classic car retailers like route66classics that you kind of have to learn about by searching around. Some of those, like buyavette specialize in one kind of car, but of course retail is always going to come at a price premium.

For me http://www.carsforsale.com/ seems to be the way to go. Especially since they updated the site.

You've tried Searchtempest to pare down the Craigslist ads?

What is searchtempest? Does it search multiple craiglist locations to give you more ads?

Yep, it collates CL ads countrywide with multiple search parameters. So easy to waste time.
